It is important to remember the generational secrets that you keep closely hidden that weave their way through your reality, hidden like homes behind the stone walls that we make all too high which are made either to keep its inhabitants locked in or unwanted intruders kept out, which dapple the lining of countryside roads in New England. Within those generational secrets there is a richness that lives upon the individual's reflection which is as clear as a sun's glint coming across Woodstock Pond. In that reflection you can find strength of endurance and an easy beauty that is only tempered with time. So judge not any other you meet on your path for they, too, have their own reflections.
Here in New England, as in all other places where winding roads are often enclosed by a forest lit with filtered light, they give the wanderer a slight glimpse as to the soul of its inhabitants. The charm and harshness, the coolness and reserve all provide sanctuary for those who remember the origins of their heritage are not too pure and the humanness of tainted personalities aren't too well adjusted and they find comfort in knowing that they are flawed humans aspiring to be better.
Other generational secrets can only be understood by the person living in the home that is protected by the stone wall that you pass on the winding road that is your life's trail, alikened to the roads that weave throughout the countryside here in New England. Look beyond what the appearance may say and look to understand the richness and the hue of the life you have brought forth through how you have chosen to embrace those very charatcteristics that you would have kept hidden.
Over time we all become keepers of each other's secrets and it is in keeping those secrets that we come closer to understanding that we are mere mortals who aspire to be Divine while we fall short of the attempt when we prejudge and dismiss anyone or anything that may challenge the security of who we have come to think of ourselves as we have come to being.
Be kind to your children. Be understanding and wise and tolerantly explore the scenery that you find while traveling the experiences of your life. We leave you with the knowing that God's hand truly guides all beings and to stand in the sun all you have to do is step out of the shadow.
